About

Ever since I took an Advertising Strategy course at the University of Oregon in 2002, I have been a dedicated student of “account planning” in all its forms: brand planning, experience planning, connections planning, and other various planner types.

For the past 8 years, I have had the opportunity to experience various positions in the advertising process: brand planning, strategy, research, radio, retail, and nowadays: social media, blogger outreach, and content generation. My toolbox is always changing.

When it comes to a working style, my M.O. is collaboration. That’s why social media & I are such a good fit! It’s all about being social and working together and learning from people and networking, all for the greater, collective good.

My other M.O. is “go local.” Do it. Establish relationships, moments, and memories with those businesses and people closest to you. I think we’ll all be happier in the long run. Go places, have new and interesting experiences, learn from them, be patient, and most of all, have fun.

peace.

Thanks Bala! Glad to have you here. Let me know if you think there’s something I should start off with or an idea I need to explore more from JPIA. I’m definitely on a search for content right now. Thanks for reading.

    Erin,

Thanks for your awesome yelp review of Garden Cafe! I really appreciated it. Just discovered your blog and, I think I’ll be checking in. I’ve picked up some great thoughts on marketing from the few posts that I’ve read so far. Thanks again.

    Mark
